Documentation
Ask most programmers for documentation and you’ll almost always get none. Usually, you’ll be snubbed, yelled at, or sneered upon. This is normal. Don’t panic.
This behavior is prevalent in hobbyists, and especially in programmers involved in free software. The prevailing ‘wisdom’ is that an end-user should feel priviledged that she is getting anything at all.
Fortunately, this is changing. Just a few years ago, I myself would’ve choked if asked for documentation. But it’s still far from being fixed. But enough with the rants.
This section is devoted to documentation related to all of the projects posted here. If a project isn't documented here, it just means that I’m not yet satisfied with the current drafts. It’ll, eventually, find its way here.
A word on OS compatibility
I can only work on issues, feature requests, etc. related to the operating system I’m using. Bugs that only apply (or can only be reproduced) on operating systems (or a particular version of an operating system) that I don’t use will have to wait for a co-developer with access to said platform.
I’m saying this to head off any concerns if (when?) issues come up arise on Windows Vista. I have no interest in running Vista, ever, even if I afford to meet its ludicrous system requirements.
